Hume Band — Heart & Blood Pressure
Your heart. Your everyday patterns.
7 reasons one reading is not enough.
Your body keeps changing, every day, even when no one is measuring it. Hume Band 2.0 tracks heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen and sleep around the clock, helping you follow the patterns between appointments with your GP.
Look beyond steps, calories and hours slept. See how your wellness data changes over time and how your heart and recovery respond overnight.
Blood-pressure tracking is listed as a future feature on the current UK product page. Hume Band 2.0 does not replace a validated blood-pressure monitor or medical advice.
One reading is a snapshot. Your everyday patterns tell a longer story.
Your body keeps changing between appointments with your GP. A blood-pressure check gives you a reading at a particular moment; your heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep and recovery can change throughout the week.
Hume Band 2.0 helps you follow those everyday wellness patterns at your wrist. Use them to understand your routine and bring questions to your GP. Always use a validated blood-pressure monitor for blood-pressure readings and follow your clinician’s advice.

- A reading at one moment
- How you feel on the day
- Heart rate and HRV trends
- Your everyday recovery patterns
- Context between appointments
Some of your clearest patterns emerge while you sleep.
During the day, there is coffee, the stairs, the 2 pm meeting. At night, the demands of your day ease, giving you a different view of your body’s patterns.
Hume Band 2.0 tracks your heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen and sleep through the night. In the morning, you can see how your recovery compares with your usual pattern.

- “I slept for 7 hours 32 minutes”
- Overnight heart-rate patterns
- HRV during sleep
- Morning recovery status
A number on its own tells you little. A change from your normal tells you more.
A resting heart rate of 62 may be completely ordinary for one person, but worth noticing for you if yours is usually around 54.
Wear Hume Band 2.0 consistently and give it time to establish your usual patterns. Comparing your heart rate, HRV and sleep with your own history makes changes easier to understand than looking at an isolated daily number.

- A single daily number
- Comparison with an average
- Your own normal patterns
- Changes from your usual range
- Trends across days and weeks
One signal is a number. Several together can reveal a pattern.
Heart rate variability, resting heart rate, blood oxygen and sleep: each gives you one part of the picture.
Look at them together over time and you can start to see how your routine relates to your recovery. Hume Band 2.0 brings your wellness data into one app, so you can follow the pattern rather than focus on one morning’s score.

- Steps and calories
- “I was active today”
- Strain alongside recovery
- Your trends over time
- Progress you can follow
Your appointment is a moment. Your history adds context.
A check-up is a snapshot: one day, one time, one set of circumstances. The weeks in between can be harder to describe from memory.
Hume Band 2.0 helps you follow your wellness patterns over weeks and months. If you notice a change, you can discuss specific observations with your GP.
Hume Band 2.0 is a wellness device. It does not diagnose or treat a condition, replace clinical tests or replace a visit to your GP.

- An occasional snapshot
- Reconstructing your week from memory
- Your history over weeks and months
- Changes you can discuss with your GP
- Wellness context, not a diagnosis
One purchase. A longer view of your patterns.
Clinical tests and everyday wellness tracking answer different questions. Keep the medical checks your GP recommends, and use Hume Band 2.0 to follow your routine between them.
Your nights should not disappear into the charging cable.
A wearable cannot record your sleep while it is sitting on a charger. Hume Band 2.0 offers up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge, helping you keep tracking through the day and night.
Charge it during a convenient daytime break and keep your overnight routine going. No display to check, no stream of notifications: wear it and read your data in the app. Battery life varies with use.

- Regular charging breaks
- Another display to check
- Up to 14 days of battery life
- Screen-free daily wear
- More time tracking your nights

How it works
Optical sensors at your wrist track wellness signals. The Hume app brings these readings together so you can review changes over time. These insights do not diagnose a medical condition.

Frequently asked questions
The details you need before choosing Hume Band 2.0.
Does Hume Band 2.0 measure blood pressure?
The current UK Hume Band 2.0 page lists blood-pressure tracking as a feature planned for a future app update. Do not buy the device expecting a currently available blood-pressure reading. Use a validated cuff monitor and speak to your GP for medical blood-pressure checks.
What can I track?
Heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep stages, activity, strain, recovery and skin temperature. These are wellness indicators and do not provide a medical diagnosis.
Is the app included?
Yes. The Hume app gives you access to core tracking data without a mandatory subscription. Optional Premium membership adds Prof AI coaching and deeper analysis. Available for iOS and Android.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 14 days on a single charge with typical use. Battery life varies with usage, syncing and settings. Charge during the day when possible to keep tracking your nights.
How do I get useful trends?
Wear Hume Band 2.0 consistently, especially while you sleep. Allow time to build a picture of your usual patterns, and compare trends across several days rather than drawing conclusions from one reading.
How is it different from a smartwatch?
Hume Band 2.0 is designed for screen-free wear and wellness tracking. View your data in the Hume app, with no mandatory membership for core data. Features, battery life and subscription requirements vary between other wearables.
Do I have to start each measurement?
No. Once paired and worn correctly, Hume Band 2.0 tracks automatically. Open the app to sync and view your data.
Can I use it without Hume Pod?
Yes. Hume Band 2.0 works independently. Hume Pod is an optional at-home body composition analyser.
